Cheryl Lane-Caron, Trainer
Riding purebred Arabians has been a way of life since childhood for Cheryl Lane-Caron under the guidance of her mother, Crabbet Arabian breeder, Sandra Lane of Fairlane Farm, originally established in South Windsor, CT. Her riding background began in 4-H with the Scantic Valley Riders under the leadership of the late Dick Woolam and the dressage arena with Pamela Bruggeman focusing on riding with a balanced seat. She expanded her riding instruction to saddle seat with Sandi Kelly & Jody LaSalle and western under the direction of David Blendinger & Mike Marquez. In 2005 Cheryl marked the start of her professional career by establishing Cranberry Knoll Arabians & Sport Horses. Cheryl is an active member and competitor throughout New the US and Canada with AHA, USEF, USDF & CRAA. Former delegate for CRAA and newly appointed Region 16 Director to take office in November of 2020.
Training & Instruction
Cranberry Knoll provides comprehensive, flexible training programs for horses & riders that cater to individual goals. Cheryl maintains a positive, fun atmosphere both in and out of the saddle. Ship-ins and boarders are welcome to join the Cranberry Knoll Team & students have access to experienced schoolmaster lesson horses.
